"Dr. Yeager?" Sherman paused, his fingers laced together in thought.
"Yeah, Dr. Yeager," Daniel nodded affirmatively.
Sherman squinted his eyes, a name coming to mind.
Anthea.
Anthea had a remarkable talent in medicine.
She was the one who cured Karen Christensen's illness.
Considering this person's abilities...
Sherman twisted his fingers thoughtfully.
Could it really be her?
"Sherman, what's on your mind?"
"Anthea," he didn't bother to hide it.
At this point, Daniel also connected the dots and exclaimed in surprise, "Wasn't it the guru who cured the old lady's illness?"
Sherman gave a slight nod, "Exactly."
Daniel, amazed, continued, "Then, this Dr. Yeager couldn't possibly be the guru, could she?"
"It's uncertain, but highly possible," said Sherman, unfazed.
Anthea was known for keeping a low profile.
And so was the mysterious Dr. Yeager.
It seemed the two could indeed match up.
Daniel frowned, pondering, "But the guru's always swamped, right? Busy with research, gaming, streaming, and she even had exams recently. Would she really have the time to dive into cancer research? I mean, Ms. Morris is also known to be quite skilled. Could it be her?"
Despite Anthea's undeniable talent, her jam-packed schedule made it seem improbable.
Rebecca had recently stepped back from the streaming scene, making her a more believable candidate to Daniel.
Looking up, Sherman asked, "Still up for that raw pork intestine challenge?"
The memory alone made Daniel's legs wobble, his face turning pale. After consuming ten pounds of raw pork intestines on a bet with Sherman and ending up in the hospital for a stomach wash, the mere mention of pork intestines was enough to unsettle him.
"Sherman, why are you so biased against Ms. Morris? Though the guru is exceptional, Ms. Morris isn't far behind. She's kind-hearted, multi-talented, genuinely a good person!"
"Sherman, are you still upset over the broken engagement? I think there's been a misunderstanding. How about I arrange a meeting with Ms. Morris? You two could clear the air."
