Love in the Limelight novel Chapter 545

"Come on, Lyle, spit it out already! What the hell are you waiting for, a commercial break?" someone in the crowd shouted, their voice tinged with impatience and a good dose of curiosity.

"Lyle really has a death wish, hitting on Mrs. Lampard in front of everyone!" another voice chimed in, a note of disbelief coloring the words.

"You guys just don't get it," a third person explained, shaking their head. "Calling her out in public is the best protection he could have. With everyone knowing he's the one who dropped the bomb, if something happens to him, it's a straight arrow pointing at Elio!"

"The opposition's been working overtime to smear my girl Astar, but watch this, folks—I'm about to sell you on our sweet and sassy, multi-talented Astar. She's the real deal!"

"Just take a look at Astar, folks. Investing in her is a no-brainer!"

The chatter continued, the buzz of excitement palpable.

Astrid's fans were a harmonious bunch, not the kind to pick fights. They were focused solely on promoting their fav.

Right then, Lyle finally started speaking again, "Folks, if I don't tweet that I'm safe and sound by tomorrow, you'd better call the cops."

"Alright, the evidence I'm about to show you could very well shatter Astrid's public image. I hope her fans can keep a level head. But hey, you can't touch me through the screen anyway."

The crowd was silent, waiting.

Lyle continued, "Okay, what you're about to see is my laptop screen. I'm going to open a few files."

"Don't doubt the authenticity of these files. They're the work of a true master sleuth—Aster."

The chat exploded, "WTF? Aster? Who did Astar piss off that they had to get Aster to dig up dirt on her?"

"Why are the fans freaking out? If your idol's got nothing to hide, there's nothing to fear from an investigation, right?"

"This is it, this is it; how many in showbiz are actually clean? Looks like Astrid is about to get nailed. Who knows, maybe Mr. Lampard's head's been a green field for ages."

"I've been glued to this livestream for the thrill of it all."
