Chapter 35 It's Not Impossible for a Love Rat to Be Loyal 

When Alicia returned to Grace's house, Grace found her out of her wits. 

"Did you buy the breakfast? Why have you been absent-minded since you came back?" 

"Edmond did." 

Grace had just opened the sandwich and was about to take a bite, but she was really shocked as if she had seen a ghost after hearing Alicia's words. 

"Is it toxic?" 

Alicia shrugged and said, "I don't know why he did that. He suddenly became very kind to me these past few days." 

"Is it because he is guilty and wants to please you?" 

"To be honest, I had the same guess. He is a notorious love rat in the circle. Everyone knows that he, the son of the boss of the Agos Group, is a playboy, and he changes girlfriends so fast as changing clothes." 

Grace took a bite of the sandwich and a sip of the soybean milk. 

Not toxic. 

And they were quite delicious. 

It made some sense he would buy breakfast for Alicia, but he actually bought food for her? Was it because she was Alicia's best friend and he attempted to curry favor with her? 

She pondered for a few seconds and looked up to ask Alicia, "Do you think he's done being a love rat?" 

"I never thought about it. I never imagined such a thing." 

Seeing Alicia's unnatural gaze, Grace was not convinced by her words but didn't reveal it. 

"It's not impossible for a love rat to be loyal. At least he's not a gay. Maybe one day he'll suddenly find out that you're his true love, and he might be completely devoted to you." 

Alicia was amused and turned around to refute, asking, "Then why haven't you ever thought of making Eli straight? Maybe one day he will find out that you are his true love, his sexual orientation might change and he might be completely devoted to you." 

Grace was momentarily speechless. 

In the afternoon, Alicia accompanied Grace to the hospital for a prenatal examination. 

They happened to go to the hospital where Edmond worked. 

When waiting in the queue for registration, Grace couldn't help but push Alicia's arm and said, "Aren't you going to see your husband? You are already here."
