Married by Accident, Taming the Billionaire novel Chapter 457

Chapter 457 Entrusting Cecelia to Him

"Don't do anything crazy! I warn you! If you dare to harm her, I'll kill you."

Jersey grabbed Petunia by the wrist, but in his agitated state, he aggravated his wounds. He gritted his teeth in pain, glaring furiously at Petunia.

He didn't want Petunia to do anything harmful to Cecelia. Nor did he want to get Cecelia anymore.

He had already come to terms with it, realizing that loving someone didn't necessarily mean possessing her. He just wanted to see Cecelia live a happy life.

Petunia pulled her hand away, her expression growing cold. "I don't understand. Why are you so protective of her? What's so good about her? I'm your sister. We have blood ties. Can I not even compare to her?"

"Don't compare yourself to her. You don't deserve it."

Jersey's tone was harsh. His ruthless words left Petunia seething with anger.

"You idiot! You poured your heart and soul out for her and even risked your life. But will she be grateful? Will she accept you? Will she love you? She will only throw herself into another man's arms. Why are you so blindly devoted to such a bi*ch? If you continue like this, you will end up being killed by her sooner or later."

Petunia was filled with resentment. Even though Jersey was her brother, he seemed to favor Cecelia.

Petunia believed that if Jersey could help her and combine the influence of the Bowman Group with hers, they could easily bring Cecelia down Cecelia.

Petunia didn't understand why Jersey was so stubborn.

"None of your business! Get out!" Jersey shouted, trying to drive Petunia out of his ward.

Since Petunia couldn't convince Jersey, she had no choice but to leave.

Maggie refused to leave, waiting outside stubbornly. Petunia couldn't do anything about it and let her mother stay.

As Petunia reached the elevator, she coincidentally saw Cecelia stepping out from it.

Petunia's face darkened instantly when she saw Cecelia, her enemy. "What are you doing here?"

"We're here to visit Mr. Bowman," Cecelia explained briefly.

Petunia reached out and stopped Cecelia. "You don't have to pretend to care about him. He's my brother, and my mother and I are taking care of him. You don't need to visit him."

"Even if Jersey is your brother, you don't have the right to make decisions for him," Cecelia retorted arrogantly, her eyes cold. "And mind your own business. It's none of your concern who I'm going to visit."

"Hmph!" Petunia snorted, accusing, "Cecelia, you're really cunning. Harry was acting on your orders, right? You were just setting the Taylor Group up, right? That was too harsh."

Now, when Petunia thought back that Harry had volunteered his advice and strategies, she felt like she had fallen into someone else's trap.

"Do you think I'm plotting against you? It's actually you who wanted to defeat me. Taking shortcuts inevitably comes with the risk of failure. You should understand this better than I do. Furthermore, you instigated this first. Don't blame me for being ruthless! The business world is like a battlefield. Being kind to enemies is being cruel to ourselves. I'm not a pushover that you can do whatever you want to."

Petunia didn't feel like she did anything wrong. Her tone was still aggressive. "Just wait and see! Once my mother hands over full control of the company to me and I become the president, I will defeat you with my own power."

"Alright! Bring it on. I will meet your challenge!"

The two women faced off with similarly powerful vibes.

At this moment, the elevator doors opened again, and Remington walked out and saw the women who were confronting each other.
