"Do not forget magic wristband and your waistbeads!"
At the sound, Malison clenched his fists, as if to steal himself against a awful sight. Laney stood firm beside him, fully armed for the great battle ahead. There was silence on the other end. He heard a clinking sound, and could make out several feet away from them, a dark figure moving rapidly. It was a wolf, maybe the thickest possible one he had ever seen. He had heard that, but it still caused him no worry.
"Remember, as rougues in their teritory, you have the responsibility for your own safety. You must place your own trust in your father's words, nothing must be left to chance. Never look away from your target. Trust no one and don't be overconfident.
Boldness is one of the greatest weapons a rougue could have. But you must learn to trust those characteristics that only a son can possess!
Before you face an enemy, make sure you know the man. Use his strengths and weaknesses to your advantage, yet always remember that he is not your enemy. You are his son, he can't wait for that barrier to come down. Don't break that serenity!"
The wolf ran over to them and lifted its head. There were no growls in its growling, and Laney feared to interrupt it. Only the madness in his eyes could make him tremble. The wolf held its head high. It approached so fast that Malison gasped as it turned towards him. His lips twisted in a grimmerce but he did not utter a word.
Suddenly, a tap from behind made Malison growl in terror. He turned to see two middle aged ladies dressed in seductive furs, their long white gloves embroidered with small blue flowers, looking at them with great curiosity. Their white faces glowed with the heat and light of the evening. Looking beyond them, Malison's wolf raised its muzzle, as lust arose within him, and growled.
"Don't you enjoy the sight you behold..? One of them said, flicking her lips up at Laney.
"I've always wanted to have this special time with you, Malison." The other lady voiced, brushing back her hair which came down, her grey eyes fixed on him with lust and fascination. Grinding her hands towards him, but now, Laney became conscious that the ladies were not there.
Silence descended once more, while Laney found himself staring at the trees that surrounded.
"Hey man, we're no more in the house!" He spat in surprise.
"What happened?" Malison asked in shock, glancing around with a stunned look. They were no longer in the house, but they had no idea how they got there. "We're in the woods Laney!" A crack of lightening cut through the darkness of the forest, and disappeared. Laney could barely make out the faint outlines of the trees as they trembled, their branches glistened, and then a flash of fire pierced through. He could feel Malison run up towards him as the trees began to shake with violent tremors.
The scents of the presence of other wolves and vampires around filled their nostrils, causing them to search with their mindlinks to know exactly where they were. Then a moist odor invaded as an ethereal presence circled them, slowly appearing to float above the trees which then tilted and moved at a perfect pace, along with the wolves. It was then that they saw the scuff of something on the ground, the scuffed shape turning into something that moved towards them, and dragged them to the edge of the forest as a huge black wolf, enormous and with an incredibly thick coat of long black hair circled their feet The presence of the black wolf within the confines of the trees seemed to rattle the surrounding trees for a moment as it used their mighty strength to drag them to it's leisurely place.
"Come on Laney, we need to leave this deadly place as soon as possible!"
"Exactly! It's obvious it's a death zone!"
"Yeah! Hurry!!!"
They managed to escape the horrible presence of the black wolf, using the magical wristband on Malison's wrist. The wolf moved to a place in the forest away from the forest's deep shadows and the decaying trees.
"Hey! Why are you guys running and panting to heavily in that manner?" A ferminine voice halted. Her voice filled with love spells, greeting them from the shadows of the deep forest. Slowly, she moved closer like the shining armor of the night, glittering with a glow blast.
