Deluna Hansen.
"What about your marriage with Ms Williams? When it's going to be?"-
"Marriage?" I wrinkle my brows as I try to grasp in the meaning of that word. His marriage with one Ms Williams? WTH, my mate is getting married! He turns his gaze to me but takes it away immediately. Whatever his old man says is true, he's getting happily married soon! But how dare he...?!
" Let's not talk about that now, Elio. We should have dinner already." He rasps out, shunning his old man and I bite my lips. Seriously? My wolf is starting to get hurt... He's getting married.
"Sure, but she called me last night and asked if..."
"Elio!" The old man almost flinches as he shuts up and gawks at the table. "Sorry." He lets out and urges, "Let's have lunch already, it's Mary's best."
But I would rather calm myself down than sit and have a meal while trying to accept the fact that my hot human mate is getting married to someone that's not me. Stupid, I hate the way I feel so weak and empty right now.
"I have no appetite right now. I would be outside." And without even sparing him a glance, I drag myself up and leave the room.
I hug myself as I sit my butts at the waterfall and stare at the placid sky. This is definitely better than that and I feel so much better right now. I hate myself right now, my wolf is weak from heartbreak and I'm angry. First, I shouldn't be here, captured by my human mate involuntarily and getting hurt by him. Now I miss the dungeon and the night hunts. Only a good blood splashing would help my mood right now. I miss being an alpha, fuck, it's just a day yet!
"It's not a happy marriage." I hear the husky voice of Belvedere, just right behind me but I don't turn. "Why did you bring me here?" I demand, using my alpha voice and I hear him sigh heavily.
"Simply because you're my mate. Should I really have an explanation for bringing you here?!" Wow, too good! So damn perfect! Really, he's fucking yelling at me. Seriously, what the hell does he takes me for?! For fucking sake, I'm the alpha and he's the human here! Why can't he get some sense in those skull and stop making me want to snap his neck right now?!
"Well, yes, mister." I stand up and turn to face him. " I deserve a good explanation for waking up in some goddamn place in Italy?! I didn't tell you I needed you to take me to Italy, did I?! And to start with, I never ever even said a word to you. You're just some fucked up human that tries to take advantage of their knowledge of creatures like me and tries to appear magnificent and great when, clearly, you aren't!" I snap rather dramatically and angrily, and he glowers.
