Sam firmly knotted the facemask over Candy's head.
She had to tie it well because she recalled how Candy tricked her while they played 'hide and seek' in the house.
Candy would trickly extend the mask away from one of her eyes so she could easily find Sam. Yet again, she suspected her just as she caught hold of Edward.
Now it was his turn.
Candy chuckled as she watched Sam tie the mask over his face as well. The way she carefully, yet slowly shifted his long-minted, thick black hair aside so that she could find the ropes. She wanted to take more of her time to adore his hair using her hand to intertwine it to a curl. The fragrance and the thickness of his hair was like…
Truly, his hair was sweet to her.
"Ahh…" He hissed as she used her finger to poke through his hair.
"Am sorry. It's a bit difficult to knot, she lied and began to do it quickly, Does it hurt?" She quickly added.
"A Little." He answered with a mumble that even Candy didn't hear. She supported him by standing in the middle of the garden and the game began.
It was hard for him. He didn't know where to go but it was easier for Candy because she was acquitted to the garden. She imagined the setting: the floral arrangement of the flowers in a curve, the way to the swimming pool and to the stairs and to the thicket. The stairs leading to the house was at a corner in the left wing of the garden.
"Come and get me!" Candy shouted as her voice flowed softly with excitement. Sam and Candy could see how confused he has been as he bumped into the flowers or bumped into the bench. Hearing her voice, he rushed towards the direction. He used his hearing power to know which direction to go. But then, she quickly diverted to another direction leading to the stairs.
As he continued walking, he felt his leg cold and wet yet he forgot there was a pool nearby so he tripped and just like that. He fell into the pool with a scream that Sam's eyes widened in bewilderment and Candy's mouth dropped simultaneously.
"Help! Help!" Some water slipped into his mouth.
He waved his hands in the air, gasping and struggling for air but it looked as if he was drowning. Sam had to take off her pyjamas and blouse. The water has completely taken his whole body down, only his palms propped on the surface.
She jumped into the pool wearing only a yellow bikini that revealed her curves and flat tummy.
Sam wore her clothes as soon as she got out of the water. She was shy and cursed under her breath. That memory of how his wet body kept pressing, wetting and brushing against her bare skin replayed in her head and She felt like freaking out.
Edward's eyes remained tightly closed even if his face was covered with a mask already. His face became blotched with embarrassment at the same time. Sam took off the mask and silence drifted in.
********************
Edward quietly walked in through the back passageway, it was bleak, cold and dim. For so long, he hasn't passed through this way. I guessed he was trying to avoid people. He wasn't ready to meet some of his bloodclan brothers coupled with the background chatters.
The quietness that accompanied him as he walked made him even more cold.
"Edward, what are you hiding from?" A voice echoed behind him and he halted. He wasn't scared for any reason but he was just so surprised that he would meet someone in such a place. He couldn't recognize whose voice it was but he knew that whoever it was followed him there.
"What do you want?" He asked trying to ascertain who it was but the passageway was too dim so he couldn't see through.
