Mistaking an Alpha for a Pimp novel Chapter 8

GARY'S POV

After I arrived in the human city, I used the address Gloria had given to me to locate where Amelia lived.

The apartment beside hers would not be that bad of a place to stay.

I immediately got the agent's number and called him up, requesting to buy the house.

"I am so sorry Mister, but the house is currently being occupied by someone else." the agent said.

I scratched my head.

"But we also have nice apartments in other places that I can show to you, even better than this place. I promise you would like it" he quickly added, nice business acumen.

"No, I do not think I would like any other house as much as I like this one," I said as I looked up at the house, I would be able to have a better view of her from here.

"But..."

I cut him off immediately. "Tell me how much the house costs, I would pay five times it, I could even compensate the current owner just to let me have it."

Just as I thought, he quickly accepted, and I would too if I were in his shoes.

In no time, the transaction was made, and I moved into the house. That night, I stood on the balcony and looked at Amelia's house. I tried to stretch my ears, so I would be able to hear anything from there, but it looked like the distance was too much since I was able to hear only faint sounds.

The next morning, I just woke up from sleep when I heard sounds from Amelia's house. I quickly went to look through the window to see her coming out of her house with her kids, our kids. I looked at them fondly for some time and smiled to myself. My pups.

I tried rushing out to the balcony to have a better look at them, but I suddenly remembered that I did not have my mask on. I quickly rushed to open the bedside drawer where I had kept it, I ran my hands through it before I put it on.

After looking in the mirror to make sure my identity was properly hidden, I quickly stepped out on the balcony. And almost at the same time, Amelia looked up to meet my eyes, I like that.

I waved at her with a smile and was amused when I saw her freeze.

I noticed as she quickly started forcing the kids into the car, I was a bit hurt seeing her trying to keep my kids away from me. I started going downstairs to meet them.

I was stunned that the kids happened to like me, well — I'm their father after all; it must have been the blood bonding, blood is thicker than water, they say.

I noticed the unrest on Amelia's face when her kids came up to me and started touching my mask. I noticed how she tried even harder to keep them away from me. I let out a hidden smile when her phone started to ring, I saw her tense.
