"Come to 56 Sycamore Street. Let's talk face to face. "Jeffrey said very briefly.
"Yes sir! I'll be right there!" Liam couldn't get more excited. Did Tiger General think it through and want to come back?
...
Hanging up the phone, Jeffrey deleted the call log immediately. Then he gave the phone back to Eliza and asked her to go home by herself.
Since the death of Brandon, Eliza's status in the Martindale family had been lower. She was constantly ridiculed and despised. Later she bought a place herself and moved out with Jeffrey so that she wouldn't be bothered anymore.
After Eliza's Audi disappeared from sight, Jeffrey drove his electric scooter to Sycamore Street nearby to wait for Liam.
In less than ten minutes, Liam's Jeep appeared in Sycamore Street.
Jeffrey got into the car and said straightforwardly, "I can come back, but you must promise me three things."
Liam was pleasantly surprised and said, "Tiger General, as long as you can come back, I can promise you three hundred things, not to mention three. The Emperor of Dragon Kingdom had told me that he can promise you whatever you want as long as you can come back."
Jeffrey didn't want to talk so much nonsense with Liam, so he laid out the terms straight, "First, buy me the whole Galaxy Group. I want to be the president of the Galaxy Group tomorrow, but no one should know that."
Liam was astonished and doubted what he heard, "Tiger General, is that what you want? Just that?"
"Yes, the first one is simple," Jeffrey said.
"Okay, that's easy. I can make it happen. You will be the president of Galaxy Group tomorrow." Liam said.
"For someone like Jeffrey, even if he wanted the whole Grandsouth City, I would give it to him without any hesitation, not to mention the Galaxy Group," Liam thought to himself.
"Second, I want a sensational wedding on the 26th of this month in Grandsouth City." This was his second condition.
Liam froze for a moment, unable to turn his mind around, "Tiger General, you're a married man. Now you want a wedding. Who are you going to marry?"
"Three years ago, I got married but with no wedding ceremony. It's a pity. The 26th of this month is our anniversary. So I want to give her a wedding to make it up for her," Jeffrey answered.
"I see. I will take care of it. Tiger General's wedding should certainly be sensational, across the country and of course across the city," Liam said.
After saying that, Liam felt something wrong, "Tiger General, it is always your style to keep a low profile. Why do you want a big wedding this time?"
"Do I have to explain myself to you?" Jeffrey asked back. He did not want to tell Liam the reason, because he was afraid that the rude man would destroy the Martindale family in a rage after finding out that the family had humiliated him.
"Oh, no, my mistake." Liam's cold sweat broke out at once.
"It's seven days to go till the 26th. I will leave it to you. I don't care about the process. I only want the result. If the wedding isn't good enough, I won't come back as you requested."
Jeffrey wanted to give Eliza what she deserved. So he was particularly concerned about the wedding. That was why he was putting all this pressure on Liam.
"I will plan the most wonderful wedding ever and make you absolutely satisfied!" Liam wouldn't dare to take it lightly now with what Jeffrey said.
He had to go out of his way to plan this wedding. From gathering a team to going through every detail, he couldn't afford to slack.
"Besides, keep the planning a secret until 26th. I want to surprise my wife," Jeffrey said.
"Yes! It will be confidential! I will make sure of it!" Liam had made up his mind. This wedding would not be only a surprise to Tiger General's wife, but a surprise to Tiger General himself.
The Emperor of Dragon Kingdom had told him to invite Jeffrey to come back at all costs. There would be a sensational wedding then!
