Unfortunately, after Yuliana's vicious rebuke, all that happiness had disappeared like mist.
He did not intend to tell Tremaine, however.
He knew that Tremaine treated him kindly. If he told him, Tremaine would be displeased and even fiercely dress her down for him.
He didn't want that.
Although Yuliana didn't treat him well, he couldn't do the same to her.
After all, she was his wife.
When he was beaten as a child, it was Yuliana who had saved him.
Other than his family, no one had ever helped him out.
Yuliana was the first.
He may be a fool, but he knew how to repay kindness.
Later, Yuliana became his wife. Zorion had thought that he would make her happy for the rest of their lives.
And even when Yuliana did not treat him well in the future, his original intention hadn't changed throughout their time together.
After he heard Zorion's words, Tremaine gave a wry smile.
At this moment, he suddenly envied his elder brother.
His foolish elder brother.
A foolish person's thought processes were much simpler than a normal persons'. They wouldn't put too much thought into matters, nor would they suffer for it.
Tremaine patted Zorion on the shoulder and turned to leave.
He had wanted to smoke alone for the whole night, but since Zorion came he was in no mood to continue. He planned to head to his study to deal with his work.
He had only taken a few steps when he suddenly stopped.
Tremaine tilted his head back and queried, "Zorion, why are you here so late at night instead of resting in your room?"
Zorion was afraid that Tremaine would know that it was Yuliana who drove him out, hence he immediately replied, "My wife wanted me to rest at first, but I didn't want to. Today is my birthday, I was happy and wanted to enjoy the wind."
These words seemed incongruous to others who heard it.
But Zorion was a fool anyways.
Who would doubt the logic behind a fool's words?
"Then get some rest soon, Zorion."
After Tremaine left, Zorion stood up at the rooftop alone, his eyes fixed on the night scenery in front of him
As far as his eyes could see, everywhere was ablaze with lights. It was truly a beautiful sight.
Suddenly, an idea came up in his mind.
If only his wife could come with him to enjoy the night view.
However, this idea was there and gone in a flash.
Because Zorion knew that it was impossible.
Yuliana was already annoyed from just the sight of him, so it was impossible to imagine her watching the night scene with him.
Only one person would be willing to accompany him to view the scenery.
Ruth Welmart.
Zorion's mouth parted and spoke subconsciously in a murmur, "Ruth, I miss you so much."
As soon as those words left his lips, a voice came from behind him.
"Zorion."
Zorion looked back to see that it was Qiana.
"Hello, Qiana." he greeted.
Zorion had a good impression of Qiana. Every time she saw him, she would give him a beaming smile and would often cook all sorts of delicious meals for him.
Qiana ambled up towards him and said, "Zorion, I wanted to get some air and look at the night view.
I didn't know that you would be here as well."
"I also wanted to enjoy the wind and the scenery. It's an absolutely wonderful view."
