Erine said she had visited the mountain before, and the scenery was beautiful, a good place for the children to explore.
Hearing that, the children immediately pleaded to go. Later, one of them insisted on a picnic there.
In the end, they prepared a mountain of food.
Because they couldn't drive up the mountain, and it was difficult to carry the mountain of food the children had insisted on bringing, Selina decided to bring the servants along.
Though Matthew didn't think they should, there had to be someone at home at least, but since Selina insisted, he went along with it.
When they were finally ready to pack up and head home, they ran into Kylin and Yesseca.
Just as Yesseca was about to let them in on the situation, Sheldon's call came.
Preslie's mother was finally out of danger!
Yesseca fell silent.
She decided there was no need to tell them anything.
Since Preslie's mother was fine now, there was no need to trouble Selina anymore.
"Yesseca, why are you in such a hurry to see me?" Selina asked anxiously.
Yesseca managed to squeeze out a few words, "Nothing, I couldn't reach you or Matthew over the phone, so I panicked and came looking for you. I thought something had happened to you two..."
Selina didn't know how to respond to that.
Kylin looked at Yesseca in bafflement but said nothing when he saw the look in Yesseca's eyes.
"And Kylin, weren't you flying to the United States today?" Selina looked over at Kylin.
Kylin had no choice but to play along. "I also tried calling you to say goodbye. But I also couldn't get through to you, and I saw there wasn't anyone at home, so I got worried as well."
Selina looked at him quietly.
She looked at Matthew thoughtfully and said, "You were right. We should've left someone to look after the house. We should've taken everyone with us."
Matthew kept silent.
They could fool Selina but not him.
He knew they didn't come because they were worried about them, so he waited until Selina was distracted before whispering to Yesseca.
She then told Matthew everything.
"Anyhow, everything is fine now, so I thought I shouldn't bring it up with Selina. You know how easily anxious she can get." Yesseca explained.
"Good that everything's fine." Since there was nothing to worry about anymore, he didn't ask more questions.
Yesseca returned to the hospital later that evening.
Kyi in insisted on seeing Yesseca off, and she didn't refuse him.
She already felt quite bad for troubling Kyi in that day, but she didn't have any excuse to say no.
Tremaine had just driven away when Yesseca and Kyi in arrived at the hospital.
He could finally be at ease knowing Yesseca wouldn't get upset when Celine was now out of danger.
He had wanted to call Sheldon to return to Nashaland together, but a thought suddenly came to him, and he changed his words.
He asked Sheldon, "Sheldon, did you ask me to send a doctor for Yesseca's sake or Preslie's?"
The question stumped Sheldon.
He didn't know what to say for a moment,
surprised Tremaine would ask the question.
That brief moment of silence was the confirmation Tremaine was looking for.
He didn't reproach Sheldon for it, surprisingly.
"Stay there. Also, don't let Preslie know about the investigation."
