Chapter 414 Learning Each Other
“Okay. Next time, I’ll wake you up before kissing you.”
“Mr. Storm, you’ve got a lot of nerve. I really couldn’t tell before.”
Draven looked at her and smiled. “Then how come you didn’t react at all back then?”
Ayla said, “Who says I didn’t? You kissed me and left. I lay there wide awake for ages before I finally fell asleep. The next morning, I didn’t even know how to face you. And we were at your mom’s place. Do you know how hard I had to pretend?”
Draven said, “That’s on me.”
“Exactly.”
“But you acted so normal. I couldn’t tell anything was off.”
Ayla said, “Who says? I definitely can’t compare to you. You held it in for so long. You’re way better at pretending than I am.”
Back then, the shock Ayla felt had been too much, so pretending was the only option. She hadn’t expected that just a few days later, they’d be together already. Things had moved so fast, faster than she’d ever imagined.
Even as he talked with her and applied the ointment, his focus never wavered. The more she looked, the more handsome he seemed. This gentle version of Draven was completely different from his cold, distant self. He was more attractive, more human. Ayla couldn’t help wrapping both arms around his neck, wanting to be close to him.
Draven smiled. “What are you doing?”
“Nothing. I just really wanna hug you. I could do this all day.” Ayla also noticed a tiny mole just below his ear. It was so attractive. How did everything about him look good? He even smelled nice. She’d always loved the crisp, cool scent of his cologne.
Ayla hugged him a little tighter and leaned in closer.
Their bodies were pressed close together. Only because she was his girlfriend now could she be this intimate with him.
Ayla started enjoying the privileges of being a girlfriend.
Just like when he kissed her, she wouldn’t refuse
And when she hugged him, it felt completely natural.
Draven had broad shoulders and a solid chest. I looked good in anything. With a physique this well-built, Kaleb’s skinny, youthful frame didn’t even come close. He was perfect for hugging.
Draven, of course, loved holding her too. But it so confirmed for him that Ayla preferred intimacy that didn’t go too far. He could only sigh quietly to himself.
“Have at it.”
Ayla agreed in her heart. His body really was amazing. She took the opportunity to slip her hand inside the collar of Draven’s shirt, her palm brushing along his collarbone, feeling his chest. The texture was just as good as she’d imagined.
Her hand kept moving downward and brushed against a sensitive spot.
Draven suddenly grabbed Ayla’s wandering hand.
Ayla said, “I’m not allowed to touch?”
