Old Mr. Blake would listen to her?
What kind of joke was that?
It was hilarious.
The only person Old Mr. Blake listened to was probably that old woman in his house.
They were the ones who were truly in love, a truly bound pair.
What was she?
Compared to them, she was nothing.
But in front of Bella, Debbie could only suppress her true thoughts.
“Yes, I am Sebastian’s mother, after all.”
Debbie’s tone didn’t show any obvious resistance to meeting Old Mr. Blake.
But in her heart, she knew very well that her words carried no weight. She had no right to speak on matters concerning the Blake family.
She had no right to attend Sebastian’s wedding.
All she did was give birth to a son who happened to be the Blake family’s heir. She herself had absolutely no connection to them.
If she showed up, she would be sent away immediately.
So, Debbie knew her place and didn’t dare challenge the authority of the Blake family.
But the most important thing right now was to keep Bella on the hook, to make her fight for that billion dollars herself.
This was a billion dollars. She’d have to be a fool not to fight for it.
“Bella, you have to work hard on this too. Since you’re the one Sebastian loves most, you need to make it clear to him that you can’t skip these proper ceremonies.”
“You can’t be treated worse than Lillian, can you?”
“Even if they don’t double the bride price for you, they should at least give you the same as Lillian to be fair. Don’t you think?”
