Lillian was no saint. If someone wronged her, she made sure they paid with interest. Nothing else mattered. She would never allow anyone to hurt her again.
Marcus nodded. "Alright. Whenever you're ready to strike, just leave the logistics to me. Honestly, that estate has been a target for a while now. More importantly, there are major players who want Silas taken out of the picture completely. Whenever you give the green light, we can coordinate with them and finish this."
Lillian nodded in agreement. "Good. Keep a close eye on the situation, and I'll let you know when the time is right. For now, I actually want her and Sebastian's wedding to go off without a hitch. It's the day they've both been dreaming of for years, after all. It would be a tragedy to leave them with such a massive regret, wouldn't it?"
Marcus chuckled. "I understand completely."
A ruthless betrayer like Sebastian deserved everything coming his way. If it hadn't been for Lillian, there was no way he'd be where he was today. He had likely forgotten his roots entirely, arrogantly believing his success was solely due to his own brilliance. Marcus might not have Sebastian's billionaire empire, but he held the man in utter contempt.
"I'll keep these photos," Lillian said. "Make sure your men destroy any digital backups or negatives. My guess is that once Bella gets past this current crisis, she won't risk going back to that estate anytime soon. Evidence like this will be incredibly hard to come by again. Until I'm ready to make my move, I don't want a single trace of these leaking out."
"Understood. You can trust me to handle it."
Lillian had no doubts. If she didn't trust him, she would have destroyed the files herself.
After Marcus left, a knock sounded at the door. It was Leonard.
