I Walked Away And He Lost His Mind (Zephyra and Steven) novel Chapter 365

I was utterly panicked. A drunk Steven could be managed; otherwise, I never would have been able to force myself on him in our past life.

But a drunk Steven burning with rage was dangerous. Things could get ugly.

He pressed me against the cold wall. My thick coat cushioned the blow, but my phone clattered to the floor. I immediately fought back with my hands and feet, but he easily pinned my wrists, his grip so tight I thought he would shatter the bones.

Before I could even cry out in pain, his hand cupped my face and he crushed his lips against mine.

“Mmph!”

His kiss was even more brutal than his grip. Every time I struggled, he bit down, showing no mercy as he forced his way in. I fought him with everything I had, kicking and hitting him.

But he was so much taller than me, and the way he had me pinned left me with no leverage. He let me struggle, even loosening his grip to let me vent my fury as he clamped his hands on my waist. I cried out as his tongue invaded my mouth, kissing me with a rough, punishing intensity.

I bit back in anger, and the coppery taste of blood filled our mouths, but he didn't pull away. The young man’s features were sharp and cold as his hands tore at my clothes with the same brutal force, his whole being radiating a violent, masculine aggression.

Steven, what was he doing?!

My eyes flew open. He'd pulled the fabric down from my shoulder. I struggled even harder, seizing the chance to scream, “Let go of me! Help—”

Steven let out a humorless laugh, pulling back slightly. His lips were stained with blood, giving him a devilish look.

“This room is soundproof. Go ahead and scream. Let’s see if anyone comes to save you.”
