I felt wronged. Why did he have to be so mean?

"I won't sleep in the same bed with him, just the same room. I can sleep on the couch!"

His expression grew even colder. "Are you looking for a fight?"

He stared at me, a hint of mockery in his eyes. "What, were you planning on doing something to me?"

I wasn't thinking about *that*. I was just curious about his physique. He could lift me with one arm, and his chest looked so firm; his abs must be amazing too.

Steven looked down at me, his deep eyes dark as ink. "You have amnesia, you didn't become a saint. You dared to jump on me stark naked without a hint of shame. Is there any need to act so pure in front of me now?"
