Chapter 330 Blocking Chloe’s Way
She wanted to go play with the dogs.
More precisely, she even wanted to go tattle to the dogs
William couldn’t keep Nina-she was set on leaving-so he had to let her go.
Daniel followed behind her.
Nina walked a few steps ahead, then stopped and held up her hands. “Un-coo Dan’el, hold hand!”
Daniel said, “Sure thing.”

He took her chubby little hand and looked down at her, talking. “Nina, I’ll buy you a new smartwatch
tomorrow.”
He didn’t take out the water guns he bought today.
Since Nina had fallen in the water, he didn’t want her playing with water right now.
Luckily, Nina wasn’t thinking about the water guns anymore. When she heard about the new watch, she nodded seriously. “Un-coo Dan’el buy.”
The two, hand in hand, went to the yard to find the dogs
Daniel took out his phone and filmed her the whole time, then sent all the clips to Alice.
Their relationship was pretty much like dating now.
They texted frequently, and Alice had learned to take the initiative with Daniel, too.
Daniel had learned sign language, but besides that, he was also looking for doctors.
Alice wasn’t born mute.
She could speak when she was little, but she lost her voice after a traumatic event.
Daniel had consulted many doctors.
They said this kind of acquired speech loss might be treatable, but they’d need to examine her properly to figure out the details.
Daniel planned to find a way to coax Alice into getting checked.
It wasn’t that he looked down on her for being mute-h just wanted to make things a little easier for her.
Time always flew by when Nina was giggling away.
Before long, the sun had slipped lazily below the horizon.
Daniel picked up Nina, who’d been playing nonstop, and carried her inside to feed her dinner.
After dinner, Amelia even used medicinal herbs to give Nina a bath.
Nina had taken plenty of baths today, but Amelia was st worried.

“Benjamin, do you think she’ll get sick again right after getting better?” Amelia asked worriedly.
Meanwhile, Nina, freshly bathed and in pajamas, was trying to climb onto Benjamin’s shoulders.

Benjamin held her up with one hand and replied to Amelia, “She hasn’t coughed tonight. I think she’ll be fine.”
With that, he lifted the squirming Nina with both hands and plopped her onto his shoulders.
Perched there, Nina was thrilled. “Mommy, look! I so tall!”
Benjamin simply held her there and walked around the room a few times.
Watching them, Amelia couldn’t help but record a short video of them.
After filming, she reminded him, “Alright, Benjamin. Don’t encourage this. If she gets used to it, she’ll want to do it nonstop. She’ll throw a fit when you put her down.”
Amelia knew Nina’s nature all too well.
Sure enough, after about fifteen minutes, when Benjamin tried to put Nina down, it was no longer an option.
Nina didn’t want to get down.
She kept yelling, “Daddy! One more!”
Amelia, seeing how late it was, said, “It’s time for bed.”
She decisively lifted Nina down.
When she was set back down on the floor, Nina cried a little.
Amelia remained unmoved.
She had too much experience with this.
With games like this, no matter when they ended, Nina would cry.
She’d cry either way-better to get it over with now so she could sleep sooner.
Perhaps the day’s adventures had truly worn her out, because Nina was relatively easy to coax that night.
Amelia held her, patting her back. In no time, Nina was sleep.
She loved snuggling up to Amelia before drifting off, bu once asleep, her chubby little body would roll away by herself.
Once she’d rolled away, Benjamin pulled Amelia close him to sleep.
The couple didn’t do anything else that night, and Benjamin just kissed Amelia softly.
The family of three slept peacefully.
The next morning, Nina still didn’t go to daycare.
