Chapter 404 Still Being Generous
Nina was safe and sound. That was the greatest gift he could ask for.
William hadn’t finished holding Nina before Daniel took his turn.
The whole family wanted to hold her.
Elizabeth also finally saw Anya.
Thankfully, Anya looked just fine.
Anya saw her and gave a smile.
The sight of the Graham family reuniting with Nina made Catherine’s expression turn cold.
Edward also witnessed the scene.
Seeing Nina’s family arrive, Edward knew he couldn’t hide the truth anymore.
He confessed, “I came across this child while I was out walking with Drew.
“She was unconscious in the heavy rain. I was worried for her safety, so I brought her back to the estate.
“I knew you disliked children, so I lied and said she was an orphan to gain your sympathy. I hoped you’d let her stay, at least temporarily.
“Catherine, I’m sorry.”
Edward’s apology was heard by the Graham family as well.
Daniel moved and thanked Edward sincerely. “Thank you for helping our child. Our family owes you a debt of gratitude.”
The Graham family was all thankful to Edward.
But Catherine said nothing. She just watched them coldly.
She found them annoying, especially William. He was just as disagreeable to her as he’d always been.
William had taken away her most precious sister years ago.
And now, William was here to take another girl she liked
away.

Chapter 404 Still Being Generous
He was truly detestable.
William knew Catherine couldn’t stand him.
Their eyes met. William narrowed his eyes, a sense of crisis prompting him to state firmly, “Catherine. Nina is my granddaughter. She is our family’s child.”
A mocking smile touched Catherine’s lips.
She looked at William and reminded him, “This child is Sienna’s descendant.”
William cut to the chase. “I will not give my granddaughter to you. Don’t even think about it.”
The atmosphere among the adults was clearly tense.
Meanwhile, Nina, who had finally reached Amelia’s arms, didn’t stay there long.
She squirmed to get down, then hurried over to the stroller.
Nina planted her chubby little body in front of Elizabeth, blocking her way.
She looked up at Elizabeth with a serious face. “No take Nina baby. Nina baby.”
Nina wasn’t letting Elizabeth take Anya away.
Elizabeth stared, confused. “No, Nina. This is my baby.”
Nina shook her head, her voice utterly certain. “No. Nina.”
Tina had given her to Nina.
So she thought Anya was hers now.
They stood face to face. Nina was always fiercely possessive of her things.
And now, she was fiercely possessive of Anya.
Blocked by her, Elizabeth looked helplessly at Amelia.
Amelia watched Nina behave like this and felt her face flush with embarrassment.
She walked over, feeling awkward, and tried to pull Nina aside. “Nina, this is Elizabeth’s baby, not yours. Babies can’t be given away. It doesn’t count that Tina gave her to you. If you like babies, I will buy you a doll. Okay?”
Amelia was mortified.

But she didn’t scold Nina. Nina had just been found. She knew that if not for Edward, a feverish kid in that downpour could have been in real danger.
Fresh from the relief of having her back, Amelia was still very patient and loving with Nina.
So, she gently coaxed her, offering the solution she’d thought of.
Amelia was being gentle, but Nina wasn’t having it.
