Chapter 406 Go Check On Her
Benjamin held her and said softly, “You’re cute, too.”
But his compliment came too late.
Once Nina got mad, she was hard to appease.
She puffed up her face, refusing to forgive Benjamin.
Benjamin wasn’t as good as Amelia at saying soft, sweet things. He thought for a long time but couldn’t come up with a way to calm Nina down.
So, he simply went silent.
His silence left even Daniel, who had come over, speechless.
Daniel held his arms out to Nina while giving Benjamin a look. “Can’t you see she’s upset? Why aren’t you comforting her?”
After criticizing Benjamin, Daniel noticed Nina wasn’t leaning toward him.
She didn’t want him to hold her.
Daniel felt a little hurt. “Nina, why don’t you want me to hold you?”
Nina sat sulking on Benjamin’s arm, wearing a stubborn little expression like she was holding a grudge against him.
Daniel had no idea what to do with the two of them locked in their standoff.

The whole crowd stayed at Catherine’s place. But she did not appreciate the noise.
Elizabeth, knowing Catherine preferred peace and quiet, was the first to leave with her two daughters.
When it was time to go, Tina wasn’t happy about it..
Anya, of course, had no reaction, still fast asleep.
Watching Anya being carried away by Elizabeth, Nina, who had wanted to keep her, stayed quiet this time.
She didn’t try to snatch Anya back.
Seeing she wasn’t putting up a fight, Elizabeth secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

A few people left the room, but the Graham family remained.
Benjamin carried Nina back to the room to stay with Amelia.
He showed no intention of leaving.
Catherine was his biological aunt. His face had won her favor even when he was a child.
So Benjamin knew that in front of Catherine, he got better treatment than his own father.
After he went into the room, Daniel gave Catherine an ingratiating smile. “Aunt Catherine, if you want to kick someone out, kick Dad. Don’t kick me.
“I’m your own nephew. We share blood.”
Daniel had a thick skin, so he stayed too.
Catherine was indifferent to Sienna’s children, but she wasn’t entirely heartless toward them.
The younger generation, like Daniel, got to stay. William was the one who truly couldn’t remain.
In the end, William was the only one who got kicked out.
William didn’t put up much of a fight when asked to leave.
He had other matters to attend to anyway.
Now that Nina was safe, he had no more reservations about dealing with Xavier.
He was going to make Xavier pay for what he’d done.

At the hospital, the family of three-Grace, Trevor, and Nelson-learned that Nina was safe.
Nelson wanted to see Nina, and so did Grace.
Trevor, seeing they were both still sick, didn’t let them make the trip. “I’ll go see her for you.”
That’s what Trevor said, but his feet seemed rooted to the floor.
He had just found Grace. He didn’t want to let her out of his sight for even a second.
Trevor’s gaze was too intense to ignore.

Grace, who had been under his constant watch, found it impossible to overlook.
“Trevor.” Seeing Trevor wasn’t moving, Grace hesitated, then reached out to tug on his large hand. “You should go. Go check on Nina.”
Grace was very concerned about Nina’s condition.
Looking at the hand actively holding his, a shadow passed through Trevor’s eyes.
“Alright.” Trevor finally moved.
Before leaving, he posted several bodyguards outside the room. He wouldn’t allow anything else to happen to Grace.
