Sure enough, she saw a figure outside the window, gently tapping on the glass.
Elena was speechless.
Dylan had actually come!
She got out of bed and opened the window for him.
Dylan jumped in from the outside.
He immediately pulled Elena into his arms. “I missed you. I missed you like crazy!”
“Dylan, aren't you afraid of being mistaken for a thief, climbing into people's windows in the middle of the night?”
“I'm not afraid. For my Elena, I'm willing to do anything. Besides, this is the second floor, it's not high. This doesn't pose a challenge for me. I wanted to surprise you. As long as I can see you, it's worth it!”
Elena didn't know what to say.
Dylan cupped her cheeks. The moonlight fell perfectly on her face.
It made Elena's skin look incredibly pale and beautiful. Dylan couldn't resist kissing her.
Elena's heart contracted sharply.
Oh no!
That feeling was back!
The kiss was lingering, deepening, and Elena felt like she was running out of breath.
“Dylan, stop.” Elena pushed him away.
“Sorry, I got too excited. Elena, you look really beautiful tonight. Very beautiful.”
Elena fell silent.
“I'm sleepy,” Elena said simply.
It was probably around midnight.
She was feeling drowsy, and since this guy had kissed all the strength out of her, she wanted to lie down even more.
“Okay, sleep. I'll keep you company!” Dylan said, then swept her up into his arms.
Elena gasped. She was already being held by the man.
A faint scent of lemon and vanilla wafted over, smelling very pleasant.
It was his unique scent.
Dylan placed her on the soft, large bed. Elena looked at his handsome face and said, “Go back home.”
“Go back? I came all the way from the Sinclair estate, and you want me to go back? Elena, we're engaged. Even if we lie in the same bed, that's normal, right?”
Elena stared at him.
