Forget This Partnership—We’re Done!
Theresa figured she didn’t need this deal to make a living anyway. Meeting someone like this? Fine—she’d walk away.
After saying that, she turned to leave.
But the next second, five or six bodyguards rushed in and surrounded her.
“Leaving?” Mr. Blake sneered. “Since you’re already here, you’re not going anywhere.”
“What, you’re going to force me?” Theresa shot back. “Richard Blake—who the hell do you think you are, treating me like this?”
“You’re just a small-time sales rep,” he said lazily. “Even if I took you, your bosses wouldn’t dare say a word.”
“Disgusting.”
Richard Blake burst out laughing. “Hahahaha! I like feisty ones. Listen—be good and do as you’re told. If you do, I’ll make sure your sales target gets met today.”
With that, he started toward her.
Theresa backed away step by step, but the bodyguards moved in and pinned her down.
“Let me go! I’m not some ordinary sales rep,” she shouted. “I’m the eldest daughter of the Ellington family. If you dare touch me, my father won’t let you get away with it!”
“Heh.” Richard Blake looked unconvinced. “Nice try. The Ellington family’s eldest daughter would be out running sales? Stop struggling—it’s pointless.”
He grabbed Theresa by the wrist and shoved her onto the sofa.
Then—to her horror—he undid his bathrobe.
He was wearing nothing but tight boxer briefs.
“Y-You… don’t come any closer!” Theresa scrambled backward.
Richard Blake cornered her, leaning in.
Theresa clenched her teeth. Suddenly she remembered what Elena had taught her.
When you’re being assaulted, aim for that spot on a man’s body—the most vulnerable one.
Strike fast. Strike hard. Hard enough to make him wish he were dead.
Theresa flicked her gaze downward—and drove her foot up with all her strength.
“AAAHHHH!”
Richard Blake hadn’t expected that. He doubled over, clutching himself, his face twisted in agony. “Damn it! You bitch—how dare you kick me!”
