She Was the Treasure All Along novel Chapter 770

One of the conservative faction leaders spoke up. "I think I see where you're going with this. You want to let Luna capture you, and right when she thinks she's won, you turn the tables and take her hostage? Then use her to force Ares Global to admit Yale is a traitor?"

"I don't like it," another leader interjected. "That gives Yale too much room to spin the narrative. We all know how slippery he is."

"We aren't using her to threaten Ares. We're using her to threaten Yale," Lucian clarified, instantly grasping her strategy. His voice was steady. "Luna came to Harmony Country with Channing. Ares Global's weapons and operatives can't easily cross our borders, and smuggling them in is too risky. So, the number of actual Ares personnel on the ground here is minimal. Naturally, keeping Luna safe falls entirely on Channing and Yale."

"Ares is basically Yale's boss. He can't just leave Luna to die," Loyce explained. "We just need to set the trap to draw Yale out."

Understanding dawned on everyone's faces, replaced by a spark of real hope.

The President looked at Loyce curiously. "You seem incredibly confident in your people. Why are you so certain of their absolute loyalty? Running a massive arms syndicate overseas, aren't you worried about moles?"

Loyce thought for a moment before answering. "Because I know my people are cunning operators who walk the line between legal and illegal. That's why I developed a bio-chip. It syncs with their neural pathways and constantly monitors brain activity. If anyone even thinks about betraying me..."

She paused, a faint smile touching her lips as she tapped her temple. "It detonates."

Every single member of her inner circle was implanted with the chip. That was why, despite her being based in Harmony Country for years, her overseas factories and operations had never suffered a leak or a mutiny.

"The moment someone gets greedy, before they can even execute their plan, they die," Loyce said simply.

The video conference went dead silent. Everyone stared at her in shock. Finally, someone muttered, "I didn't even know technology like that existed."

"This could be revolutionary for national security!" another exclaimed. "It should be integrated into the military immediately! We'd never have another traitor like Yale!"

The President was clearly intrigued. He leaned forward to negotiate. "Can you actually pull this off? If you can, I am willing to grant you one favor within my power."
