“Ten million,” Henry said, sitting up straight and cutting her off.

Genevieve’s pupils shrank. “Ten million?!” she blurted out in disbelief. “Henry, are you kidding me?”

“I’m not kidding this time.” Henry crossed his legs, his demeanor arrogant. “Genevieve, ten million is cheap. You have to understand, those guys have a huge appetite. I had to move heaven and earth just to bargain them down to ten million. I did all that for you.”
