The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 790

Joanna looked up at Moss, her eyes shining. “Moss, I love you.”

He reached for her, pulling her into his arms and holding her so tightly he never wanted to let go. It felt like he could finally breathe. She loved him too. They were really in love.

The joy in Moss’s chest was almost too much to handle. “Joanna, say that again,” he whispered, voice thick with emotion. “Tell me you love me again.”

Tears of happiness streamed down Joanna’s cheeks. She didn’t hesitate, her voice ringing out clear and strong. “Moss, I love you. I’ve loved you before, I love you now, and I’ll keep loving you for the rest of my life. Always.”

She threw her arms around his neck and kissed him again, pouring everything she felt into that kiss.

Moss could feel her warmth, the softness of her lips, and he kissed her back with all the love in his heart.

From the side, Ella clapped her hands, grinning. “Congratulations, Mr. Wade! Congratulations, Ms. Johnson!”

When Moss and Joanna finally broke apart, they both turned to Ella, smiling. “Thank you, Ella.”

Ella arched an eyebrow, her smile playful. “You two are giving me too much credit. I didn’t actually do that much.”

Moss kept his arm wrapped around Joanna. “I know you helped bring us together and exposed Louise’s plan. Without you, Joanna and I never would’ve had the chance to be honest with each other. We might never have gotten back together.”

Joanna looked at Ella with gratitude. “Thank you for everything, Ella. Really.”

Joanna honestly adored Ella. Every time she thought about her own difficult daughter, Jessa, she secretly wished Ella could be her daughter instead.

Ella’s lips curled into a smile. “Ms. Johnson, let me treat the poison in your body now.”

“Use my heart’s blood,” Moss said, not missing a beat.

Ella laughed. “That won’t be necessary.”

Moss blinked at her, confused. “Why not? Isn’t my heart’s blood supposed to help?”

Ella smiled softly. “It’s alright. I’m a doctor, and saving lives is my job…”

Before she could finish, her eyes fluttered shut and she slumped forward, collapsing.

“Ella!”

Moss caught her before she hit the floor. “Ella! Ella, what’s wrong?”

Joanna scrambled out of bed. “Quick, lay her down!”

Moss eased Ella onto the bed. A doctor rushed in, quickly checking her over.

“Doctor, what’s going on? Why did she faint all of a sudden?”

The doctor looked up and tried to reassure them. “Mr. Wade, don’t worry. Ms. Irvine just fainted from exhaustion. She needs some rest, but she’ll wake up soon.”
