"Dean Alistair, is everything alright?"
the other directors asked in concern, not having caught on yet.
"I will resolve this seating issue immediately,"
the staff coordinator said. Assuming the dean was furious about the students hijacking the VIP stage, he immediately turned to call for security.
"Seriously, what is wrong with the people from Eldoria? It's bad enough they shamelessly crash the conference every year, but do they have to be this incredibly rude?"
The other VIPs voiced their disdain, their faces etched with deep annoyance.
While it had been decided long ago that Charlotte would lead the delegation,
the submitted documents had only ever listed the name "Charlotte," with no emphasis on her true professional alias.
It was perfectly normal that these foreign scholars and executives only knew the legendary title "Asclepius" and had no idea what her real name was.
"This is absolute arrogance!" another director sneered. "Why haven't you called security to throw them out yet?"
If they didn't want to participate respectfully, then they shouldn't participate at all.
After all... whether Eldorian medicine was represented or not made absolutely no difference to the global community.
"Right away."
The coordinator nodded eagerly, raising a hand to signal the guards. "Security! Get security in here!"
"You bunch of absolute fools!"
Overhearing the arrogant remarks behind him, Dean Alistair cursed. He shoved away the assistant trying to support him and marched as fast as his trembling legs could carry him straight toward Charlotte.
Stopping right in front of her, under the bewildered gaze of the entire hall, he lowered his head in a deeply respectful bow. "Asclepius, it is a profound honor."
"..."
The crowd stared at the dean in utter shock. Completely lost, someone grabbed his assistant and demanded, "Who did the Dean just say she was?!"
"He said she is Asclepius!" the assistant answered truthfully.
Asclepius?!
The name hit the crowd like a shockwave.
This young woman was the legendary Asclepius?
