The Mocked Miss’s Hidden Crowns novel Chapter 2126

And she called herself Asclepius?!

Was she actually a complete fraud?!

"Asclepius, what do you mean by that?" Dean Alistair hurried over to her side, whispering nervously. "A bone fracture is no small matter. He really needs to be transported to an ER immediately."

"No need."

Charlotte gave a faint smile, a confident smirk playing on her lips as she casually strolled over to the injured student.

Then,

she crouched down with fluid grace, resting her fingertips delicately against his fractured wrist. She palpated the area in silence for exactly thirty seconds.

"It's too cramped down here. Help him up to the stage,"

Charlotte instructed as she stood up and dusted off her hands, her voice impossibly calm and devoid of panic.

"What?!"

The crowd was utterly bewildered. The boy was injured and needed an ambulance—why on earth was she telling them to put him on the stage?

The international students exchanged baffled glances, completely unable to process her directive.

"Absolutely not."

The Veridian chaperone immediately voiced his objection, his tone deadly serious. "I cannot take liability if anything happens to my student on an international trip."

Especially since the injury was to his right arm—this could jeopardize his entire surgical career!

"The nearest hospital is at least a thirty-minute drive from here. Any violent bumps along the way will absolutely cause secondary trauma to his arm," Charlotte stated simply.

"Leave him to me. I guarantee that without using a single surgical instrument or chemical painkiller, I will use traditional medicine to restore his arm back to perfect condition."

"..."

The sheer shock wasn't limited to the Veridian chaperone; the jaws of every international professor and student in the room hit the floor.

Fix his broken arm to perfect condition without a single modern instrument or drug?!

Could traditional medicine even be applied to a traumatic fracture like this?

Was this some kind of sick joke?!

"Asclepius, I know you have a stellar reputation. I understand you're at this conference to promote Eldoria's traditional medicine."

"But I am incredibly sorry, I will not allow my student to be a guinea pig in your publicity stunt and delay his actual medical treatment."

"Where is that ambulance?!"

The chaperone turned and screamed frantically at the coordinator.

"It's on its way." The assistant wiped the nervous sweat from his brow, looking helpless. "But traffic is a nightmare. It will take at least another twenty minutes to get here."

Twenty minutes?!

That was an eternity!
