REJECTED LUNA AND THE MONSTER'S SON novel Chapter 8

Ooops!!

Somehow I managed to make it back to my little mansion. First, I placed the bucket of water down, then carefully brought my baby down from my back. I changed his bum; he was damn soaked from last night. I usually wake up at night to change napkins, but I had none. He was so relaxed and didn't even cry. I am sure he really needed the bath. I applied perfumed jelly cream to his soft skin so he would be nice and fresh for the day.

I had to place him in his cot while I washed down with the remaining water. It was indeed refreshing; I missed the shower a lot, something I definitely took for granted. I miss living like before.

When my parents kicked me out, I was very lucky to find a huge amount of money that I had saved from the past in one of my pants. I also used to work in an eatery as their receptionist, so I saved up enough money that I thought would have been enough for my baby and me for one year. That's pretty funny, right".

I was able to stock up on enough formula and napkins for my baby and got some perishable foods as well, but unfortunately that wasn't a good idea. All the perishable foods are beginning to deteriorate, and I am running short of my baby's food. I wasn't properly hydrated at the hospital, so my milk stopped flowing during the shortage of the formula. I am really running short of cash; now that I have a baby, I can't go and work, unlike when I was pregnant with him and made tons of money. The little money left with me would definitely not take us very far. "What do I do?"

Frowned, I lean on my door, watching the rain and everything looking so beautiful; it is fun living in the woods.

While I continued to trick my mind into not thinking about how to survive, my ability failed me, and it is definitely right in front of me.

My parents are certainly not an option, and my dad was very clear when he instructed the omegas never to allow me to step foot in the pack. "Do I go to Alpha Leo and reveal my identity?"

The last time I was close to seeing him, his guards wouldn't even allow me to get close to his pack territory. I also remembered how I managed to get his number, and when I called him and told him I was pregnant with his baby, he laughed at me, wondering why he could have anything to do with a 17-year-old girl, and he hung up on me.

On second thought, he is definitely right. My nanny and I left the conference meeting that was going on on the ground floor to go around the hotel and view its beautiful amenities. We made our way upstairs, where there were so many rooms that at some point I could not see my nanny. While I searched upstairs for her, I met a room open and an Alpha Leo who was seated on the fancy couch waved at me. I don't know why I was so drawn to him; it is still a mystery to me. He offered me a drink, and we both got drunk.

I tried to shake the memory away. I ran sideways and brought a bottle of groundnuts I had bought a week ago. My stomach is rumbling. What would I do for a well-cooked home meal? I miss my mom's food. I miss us cooking together. I remembered how I would always steal her meat, and she would catch me and give me a frown. I remembered how she would take her time teaching me how to cook. My first rice I made myself was horrible. I felt so disappointed with myself, but my mom walked up to me and gave me a motherly kiss. She told me I could do better. From that day on, I became an excellent cook.
