Salute to the General novel Chapter 2513

Zyon thought that Nathan would be scared to the extent of begging for mercy on his knees upon hearing the former's taunt.

However, Nathan's actions surprised him big time. He remained relaxed as ever when he got up from his seat slowly, took the cup from the coffee table, and had a sip. “What will befall me when I'm actually the Chief Military Governor?” Nathan asked indifferently. There was no trace of fear in his tone.

Zyon's jaw dropped in complete disbelief.

This guy is ridiculous! How shameless can a person get?

He never imagined that Nathan would still insist that he was the Chief Military Governor of Eurasia. Is he out of his mind? Does he have a death wish?

Zyon guffawed as rage built up within him. “Fine, I'll grant you your wish if trouble is what you're asking for.”

With that said, he strode forward to open the door to the private room, ready to tell on Nathan.

The moment he opened the door, a large number of generals entered the room, looking imposing. They were followed by a huge team of National Guards.

“Hi Commander, I've got a case to report.”

Zyon went up and welcomed the troop.

The big shots were all high-ranking officers from the South Army. The person standing at the forefront was the commander-in-chief of the Southern Naval Base, Zach Hill.

Franklin and the others were behind him.

There was cyber warfare between the army and Volk, which ended with the latter suffering from severe losses.

Nathan was the one who personally led the troop into Volk and rescued Lucas. Apart from bringing the bodies of the fallen West Army back with him, he also dampened the arrogant attitude and spirits of the soldiers from Ariarica as well as other powerful countries.

Eurasia kept the details of the war under wraps instead of announcing it publicly in order to preserve the Volkians' reputation.

Yet, the news was widely circulated within the army.

Zach was very close to Nathan. Besides being his direct subordinate, he was also a good friend of Nathan.

As soon as he knew that the latter was back in Channing, he took the initiative to lead his men over to welcome Nathan and celebrate his success.

Unbeknownst to him, the moment he entered the private dining room, an unfamiliar man walked up to him to lodge a complaint.

“Get out of the Commander's way, and don't waste his time. The Commander has got something more urgent to do," the captain of the

National Guards ordered while pushing Zyon aside.
