Salute to the General novel Chapter 3064

Whoosh!

Whoosh!

Both their fists smashed against each other with an earth-shattering force.

Boom!

The ground rumbled upon impact while Nathan and Max were thrown back a short distance, respectively.

The result shocked Max, for he had not expected Nathan to be so strong in his weakened condition. He's a real monster!

At the same time, Nathan, too, furrowed his brows.

After going through waves of battles in Heavenly City and killing Vince that day, he was at his weakest in years.

The sudden clash with the mysterious elite at an explosive intensity took a toll on Nathan's body, causing him to realize the battle that lay ahead was not going to be as easy.

When Max noticed Nathan's injuries, his face broke into a wicked smile. “Heh, Nathan. Even though I'm your enemy, I have to admit that you truly are the best fighter there is. It's a shame that your injury will be the death of you tonight. Now, face an agonizing death!”

Following that, he charged at Nathan like a bullet, unleashing a hurricane-like barrage of blows.

Without a single word, Nathan met him in battle.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Amidst the flurry of punches and kicks, thunderous explosions rang out repeatedly. The resulting shockwaves flattened the trees in the surroundings and destroyed the signboards of the shops along the street.

Nathan had intercepted over thirty of Max's attacks in one go.

However, Max took advantage of a momentary lapse of concentration in Nathan to bludgeon the latter's chest with his fist.

Bam!

The impact sent Nathan sliding back by about eight meters, his feet leaving two deep trails on the ground.

Upon steadying himself, he touched the corner of his lips and was surprised to feel the ooze of blood.

In contrast to being beaten to a pulp and subsequently to death the last time, Max was able to overpower Nathan and even draw blood from the latter.

Even though he had only managed to secure an upper hand due to Nathan's injuries, the result still delighted him greatly. In fact, he was not at all bothered by the lack of warrior spirit.
