After a few minutes, his phone rang. He took a glance, his dark-colored pupils sinking as he pressed the button to answer the call.

A cheeky voice sounded from the other end of the phone. "How did the discussion go, Alex? The little guy can't last that long."

"I told you I'll never allow you to hurt other people."

"Are you saying that you have no plans to save this little guy anymore? Such a pity. As his biological uncle, it seems like you can only watch the little guy take his last breath."
