Chapter 273
The tall and striking man had an intimidating presence, breezing past the glass walls of the waiting area with a posse of black–clad bodyguards clearing the way, heading straight for another terminal.
Lizetta’s face turned even paler, instinctively she pulled on her hat, yanked up her scarf, and ducked her head in a fluster.
Just then, the boarding call blared through the speakers.
Lizetta shot up, grabbed her suitcase, and hightailed it to the gate without looking back.
“Mr. Dashiell, all flights to Veridia board from this Gate 3 lounge. Mrs. Dashiell’s plane ain’t taking off for another two hours. We’ve got all the exits covered, but no sign of her yet.”
Remington strode into Gate 3 lounge, where his bodyguards had already done a quick sweep and were reporting back.
His face set like stone, Remington walked directly into the crowd and ordered, “Keep looking!”
He gestured to his guards to fan out, his eagle–eyed gaze scanning rapidly.
If the flight wasn’t leaving for another two hours, Lizetta had to be here somewhere.
But after a thorough search, there was still no trace of Lizetta.
A hint of irritation crept into Remington’s eyes, his brows knitting together slightly.
“Mr. Dashiell, think she hasn’t shown up yet?”
International flights board early, and ticket checking was already underway, but Lizetta was nowhere in the
queue.
Remington turned to the bodyguard who spoke up and asked in a deep voice, “Checked the bathroom?”
“Yep, had someone go in and look, no sign of her.”
Frustrated, Remington’s peripheral vision caught a familiar tall figure chatting up a woman, heading towards the ticket checkpoint.
A flash of fury crossed Remington’s eyes, and he strode over, reaching out to grab the man’s shoulder from behind and yanking hard.
The man turned around, revealing the refined face of Hogan.
Darkness swirled in Remington’s eyes as he threw a punch.
“Trying to steal my girl! Hogan, you’re asking for it!”
The punch landed on Hogan’s cheekbone, sending his wire–rimmed glasses flying, shattered patterns fanning out.
In a fury, Remington pulled the woman standing in front of Hogan behind him, his entire being radiating a wrathful possessiveness.
Hogan’s face bruised as he staggered and steadied himself, then straightened up, his lips curling into a
sneer.
“Where’s this coming from, Mr. Dashiell? Maybe you should check if that’s your wife.”

The mockery in Hogan’s eyes sent a bad feeling washing over Remington.
He spun around and yanked off the hat and scarf from the woman with her head bowed.
