Holy cow! How could he forget, wherever Grace was, Mr. Salter was bound to be there?
And, there was also a Ms. Dustin!
Seeing Isaac's gaze growing colder, Nathan chuckled awkwardly. He broke out in a cold sweat, unsure how to avoid raising Brittany's suspicions.
Brittany had met Nathan before, who was Mr. Salter's assistant.
"Granny, do you know Nathan?" Brittany asked.
Keeping a poker face, Grace said, "Yes, I got lost when I went to the company to find Zac before, and he helped me."
"Right, we have indeed met before." Nathan agreed in a hurry, "Grace, enjoy your meal. We'll leave first."
As soon as he finished speaking, Nathan took off like his ass was on fire, leading his friends to leave in a hurry as if there were ghosts chasing him.
Watching his retreating figure, Brittany frowned and turned to Isaac, "Zakky, why do I feel like Nathan seems scared?"
He was shaking all over, like a mouse that had seen a cat.
Pouring her a glass of wine, Isaac said, "Drink less, or you'll wake up with a headache tomorrow."
After taking a sip, Brittany's eyes lit up, "This is delicious."
"Bri, whenever you have time to go back to the old house, granny has some treasures hidden." Grace shifted the subject, pulling Brittany along.
Isaac took out his phone and saw a message from Nathan: [Mr. Salter, it was not intentional. I didn't know you were here. Don't be angry. I will leave now. Enjoy your meal with Ms. Dustin.]
He could feel Nathan's fear.
Raising an eyebrow, he put his phone away and focused on having dinner with the two women.
This was Grace's first time eating Korean barbecue. The first bite was like opening a new world, and she couldn't stop eating until Isaac had to intervene, "Granny, you can't eat anymore."
Elderly people had weaker stomachs, and too much oily food was bad for their health.
Grace wasn't satisfied, she pouted, "I'm old, and I can't even enjoy delicious food. I raised you with so much hardship, but you don't respect me. My heart hurts like it's being cut with a knife."
