The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 244

The next morning came fast. The mourners were about to arrive.

Brittany, being the only family member, had to welcome them.

However, she had spent the entire night on her knees, and her legs were so numb that she couldn't even stand.

Isaac lifted her up and placed her on a bench nearby, rolled up her trouser legs, and saw the bruises on her knees. He began to massage them for her.

Brittany lowered her eyes, watching his careful movements, feeling a sour feeling in her heart.

"Zakky, it doesn't hurt," she said, her voice hoarse and barely audible. Even she herself was startled by it.

He too had spent the whole night on his knees; he must be tired!

Isaac, of course, was tired, but he didn't care. All he cared about was Brittany. His palms were warm on her legs and he said, "Don't move."

Brittany, feeling helpless, just sat there obediently, allowing him to massage her. As the pain gradually subsided, she couldn't bear to see Isaac struggling for her anymore. She took his hand, "It's okay. My legs don't hurt anymore."

Isaac wanted to massage her a little longer, but the guests were about to arrive.

He helped her put her trouser leg down and helped her stand up, "If you can't hold on later, tell me, okay?"

Brittany nodded. A trace of sadness flashed in her eyes and then disappeared.

There were many people who came to the funeral home to mourn. Most of them knew about Donna Dustin's good deeds, and some had been helped by Donna Dustin.

Bundles of yellow roses were placed in front of the hall.

Brittany stood at the door to greet them, she had changed her clothes, her little face was pale, and she looked very haggard.

Isaac was by her side, welcoming batch after batch of mourners.

When the Chester family came, it was almost the end.

Old Mr. Chester shakily put down the bouquet of flowers he was holding. He sighed deeply, showing his deep sorrow.

Hannah's eyes were red from crying, but it was Brittany who comforted her with a bitter smile.

Blake Chester and Tanya Chester comforted Brittany and glanced at their crying daughter, "Stop crying, Bri is suffering, and she still has to comfort you?"

Hannah sniffled, leaning on Brittany, looking very weak.

The Chester family stayed after they came. Lionel contacted the funeral home to inquire about Donna's grave.

The person in charge of the funeral home was dressed in a solemn black and white uniform.

"Ms. Dustin's husband has arranged everything, the cemetery, the specifications are the highest."

Lionel was taken aback. Could Bri's husband have such great abilities?
