"Aren't you scared of losing your job?"
Warren asked calmly, "Must be tough dealing with your mortgage, huh? How will you survive in Imperial City without this job?"
Wrapping his arms tightly around Brittany, Isaac felt safe. "Warren, you guys didn't do your job properly. We’re the victims here. We're just seeking justice, and there’s nothing wrong with that. If you can ruin my career, then so be it."
He paused, his eyes as deep as the ocean. "If it takes sacrificing my career for my wife and her late grandmother's justice, then I'm all in!"
Brittany's pupils contracted at his words, instinctively looking to Isaac, her heart pounding like a hammer.
"Zakky!"
Before Brittany could say anything, Isaac had her in the car, turning back to Warren before slamming the door.
"Warren, I expect my termination notice first thing tomorrow morning."
Isaac drove off, leaving a fuming Warren behind. He had given them plenty of chances, but they had not only refused but also provoked him!
Well, they had it coming then! Since they wouldn't settle, then they could face the worst!
Warren immediately called his daughter Fiona.
"Find a reason to fire Isaac from your company, now!"
Fiona asked, "Dad, what happened?"
Warren quickly explained the situation. "These two are troublemakers. If this gets out of hand, it could ruin the hospital's reputation."
Fiona was in a bit of a bind. She had some sway in her branch of Grandeur Capital.
But she had never heard of Isaac. Still, her father had a point. This couldn't escalate.
"All right, I got it. I'll take care of it."
After hanging up, Fiona contacted her secretary to find out which branch Isaac was under.
