"Robert's funeral..."
"Robert's matter has nothing to do with me."
After Brittany left, the lawyer, knowing how deeply she was hurt, didn't bother her anymore and got someone else to help arrange Robert's funeral.
With Robert's case over, Brittany poured all her energy into the lawsuit with the hospital.
No lawyer was willing to take up the case, and she was stuck in a tough spot for a while.
Isaac got wind of Brittany's predicament and secretly contacted Wesley Tueley, who immediately understood and took the chance to meet Brittany, recommending a very famous lawyer to her.
Brittany was deeply grateful and discussed the situation with the lawyer, who indicated that there were high chances of winning the case.
After seeing off the lawyer, Brittany turned to Wesley and said, "Mr. Tueley, are you free tonight? How about we grab a bite?"
She was very grateful for Wesley's repeated help.
Wesley's eyes flickered for a moment before agreeing.
Brittany picked a restaurant and handed the menu to Wesley. "Mr. Tueley, you decide."
Without any hesitation, Wesley ordered a few specialty dishes, then turned his attention to Brittany.
"I heard that Robert left all his shares to you. What are you planning to do?"
Brittany rubbed her temples. "Return them to the Dustin family."
"What about the Bri-jeweled Studio?"
"I'm planning to take care of both." Brittany wouldn't give up the studio she founded herself, nor would she let the Dustin family decline entirely.
Wesley was surprised by Brittany's ambition. "I'll find someone to manage the Bri-jeweled Studio for you to help share the burden. Just let me know if you need anything."
Bri-jeweled Studio was a promising studio, and he didn't want to give it up just like that.
Brittany thanked him, and they chatted over dinner, discussing new product ideas. Wesley gave her a lot of freedom to explore.
"Brittany, why are you with Mr. Tueley?"
A discordant voice rang out. Brittany looked up to see Sherry Boulton and her brother Finn Boulton standing not far away.
Finn Boulton's eyes were full of condemnation, as if he were a betrayed husband, glaring at Brittany.
Brittany's good mood vanished instantly.
"Brittany, you're married and still seducing Mr. Tueley. How shameless can you be?"
The Boulton family was in decline, and Sherry was having a hard time.
