The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 264

Brittany got home and saw Isaac working out.

She casually asked, "Did Finn try to get in touch with you?"

Isaac put down his dumbbells, turned to her, and asked, "How'd you know?"

"I ran into him when I had lunch with Mr. Tueley this afternoon. He told me." Brittany is taken aback by Finn's audacity and instinctively grabs his shirt collar, "I've completely cut ties with Finn. You better not..."

Isaac silenced her by gently placing his hand over her mouth and said, "I know."

Finn had tried to reach out to him a few times before, but Brittany never responded. He even went so far as to stir up trouble with the Boulton family.

Brittany's eyes flicker as if she wanted to get closer to him. But her move was interrupted by a phone call.

"I just got word that several clients have canceled their orders. They'd rather pay the penalty than continue working with us."

Kari was anxious and helpless. These were big orders, and not being able to fulfill them at this crucial time didn’t sit well with her.

Brittany had a hunch about who had been stirring the pot. "Put out a statement that anyone who cancels their collaboration with us will never be able to work with us again."

Kari was taken aback, "Bri..."

"Just do as I say."

Kari had always respected Brittany's decisions. Even though she knew it was not quite right, she still followed through.

Isaac watched her hang up the call. His eyes flickered, and he kissed her.

After the news broke, the clients who were considering canceling their collaboration quieted down.

Brittany was supremely talented. Working with her was beneficial and harmless for them. They didn’t dare to cancel the collaboration lightly, lest they missed this rare opportunity!

Kari couldn’t help but admire Brittany's cleverness, and her admiration for her grew.

Warren did not expect Brittany to be so resolute.

As the court date approaches, Walton came home with Jolin. Warren's attitude changed from his usual arrogance, and he was pleased with Jolin.

His wife, Maggie, was furious at Walton's smugness, but she didn’t have enough say in the family.

At the dinner table, Walton brought up the case, hoping Jolin could help.

Jolin knew about the situation. She put down her fork and looked at Warren seriously.

"I must tell you, I've met Ms. Dustin before. I'm afraid I can't help with this case."

Jolin refused to represent the case. Firstly, because of Brittany's prestigious status, and secondly, because she believed Brittany was the real victim. She didn’t want to be on the opposing side.

Warren's face fell a bit, but he kept his composure.
