"Ms. Chester, fancy seeing you here."
Shona Bennett had met Hannah before. They moved in the same social circles, so she couldn't just ignore her.
Hannah gave a small smile, "Ms. Bennett."
"Zella's engagement party is tomorrow night. Ms. Chester, will you be there?" With a keen eye for detail, Shona issued an invite. "Let's go together."
"No need. I plan to go with my friends."
The Chester family didn't mingle much with the Bennett family. The Chesters mainly dealt in real estate and later branched out into other industries, while the Bennetts were primarily in finance.
Hannah didn't care much for Shona Bennett, and she always felt Shona was full of arrogance and conceit deep down.
Their paths were different, so they really had nothing to chat about.
Shona didn't insist. She planned to choose a dress.
The changing room door opened.
Hannah's eyes lit up. She quickly walked over, pulling Brittany in front of the mirror, "Bri, this dress really suits you."
The beautiful long dress outlined Brittany's figure, who already had a great body, and the dress made it even more evident.
Her long hair was tied up, revealing her slender neck and a hint of curves.
Shona Bennett showered her with compliments, making Brittany giggle.
"Let's get this one then." Hannah clapped her hands, ready to pay, but Brittany stopped her, pulling out a bank card from her bag, "Use this one."
The sales assistant took the card.
Shona glanced at it and immediately recognized it as a custom card reserved for high-level VIPs of the bank.
It required a ten-figure deposit for custom eligibility. And this card was the highest level among the custom cards.
There weren't many people in Imperial City who owned this card, and clearly, Brittany wasn't a high-level member of the bank.
The sales assistant didn't recognize the card and took it to the counter.
"I've never seen that card before," Hannah frowned, well aware of Brittany's financial situation.
"It's from Zakky."
Brittany was a bit reluctant to spend money, but the dress was really pretty, and the studio had a good income this month, so it was affordable.
If it was from Mr. Salter, then there was no problem.
Shona Bennett seemed to have realized something upon hearing this. She stepped forward, "Ms. Dustin, nice to meet you; I’m Shona Bennett."
Brittany shook Shona's hand instinctively. She knew Shona; they had met before.
"Ms. Bennett."
