Brittany handed over the preliminary cooperation report. Isaac took it and flipped through it.
The content was more professional than he expected, the report was well-organized, and the terms offered were very generous.
Isaac was willing to help, but he didn't want to make Brittany suspicious.
"The terms you offered are really good, but this is a huge investment. I need some guarantees," he said.
"Mr. Salter, don't worry. I'm confident I can handle the Dustin family business. Other than the shares, you can propose any other conditions," Brittany replied.
The Dustin Group needed billions in cash flow. It was no small sum.
His doubts were justified.
A glint flashed in Isaac's eyes. "How about this? You owe me a favor. Write it down, and when I need something, I'll bring it up. How does that sound?"
Wesley, at his side, was taken aback. Was Isaac even bargaining with his own wife?
Brittany hesitated. "What kind of conditions?"
She had some doubts. If it was something illegal... she didn't want to get into trouble.
"Don't worry," Isaac reassured her. "I won't make unreasonable demands, let alone anything illegal."
Brittany didn't think she had anything valuable to exploit, and the money was indeed important, so she agreed.
"Okay."
After dinner, they both signed the cooperation report, and Brittany excused herself early.
Wesley looked at Isaac, confusion in his eyes. "If you want to help Brittany, why not just say so? Why make conditions?"
Isaac took off his mask, picked up his water glass, and took a sip. "She's suspicious. If I help her for no reason, she might not be at ease."
Wesley was speechless.
"By the way, Marcel seems to be making some moves lately. He's dealt with the people who hurt Zella and some of Leda's people as well."
"The miscarriage was Leda's doing."
"Brittany still doesn't know who you are, and she's been in contact with Zella quite a bit. Be careful." Wesley advised, "Don't let your wife run away, and you can't even catch up!"
"Shut up!"
Isaac glared at Wesley, put his mask back on, and left.
