The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 298

"Who's the chick in the room if Brittany is standing right here?"

The woman in the room was beaten to a pulp, shocking everyone who caught a glimpse of her face.

"Mrs. Field, is that her?"

"Wasn't it supposed to be Brittany who's been playing around with a married man? How did it turn out to be Susan?"

Jason hadn't expected to be dragged into this mess. He pushed through the crowd to see Susan, naked and bruised, looking worse for wear.

"Darling, save me!"

Susan, wrapped in a blanket, couldn't hold it together when she saw Jason.

Jason was livid. Now the whole damn town knew his wife was unfaithful.

Susan, trembling, tried to approach him.

Jason slapped her across the face. "Susan, you couldn't stand being alone for one damn night, so you decided to cheat on your daughter's engagement party!"

Susan was stunned by the slap. The next second, she was up in arms. "Jason, how dare you hit me! You hit me!"

She didn't give a damn about the onlookers. She threw punches and kicks at Jason. Jason, in response, pushed her, and she crashed into the headboard, frozen in shock.

Blood trickled down her forehead as she started to sob.

The sound of a camera shutter echoed from outside the room. Someone had caught the whole scene. Only then did Susan realize she'd messed up big time.

Mrs. Wendy took advantage of her shock and started to throw punches and kicks at her.

Jason, with a stern look on his face, slammed the door and kicked Susan hard.

Screams echoed around the room.

Loraine was dumbfounded.

She would have never guessed that the one who seduced a married man wasn't Brittany but her own mother!

Brittany slowly walked among the guests, looking worried. "Ms. Field, is Mrs. Field all right? Even if she wanted to have an affair, she could've picked a better day; why today?"

Loraine shot herself in the foot with her own actions, and she was so mad that she was almost choking on her own blood.

Derek also didn't anticipate Susan causing a scene on such a day. He was seething with anger.

The maid who had just seen Brittany appearing unharmed turned pale.

How could this be?

Didn't Ms. Field have everything planned out?

Wasn't Brittany supposed to be the one to be embarrassed?

The guests began to whisper among themselves, their disdainful eyes focused on Loraine, peeling away her last shred of dignity. She wished she could dig a hole right there and bury herself!
