The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 336

Brittany took a deep breath, trying to steady her emotions, "Zakky, I'm sorry for worrying you."

Her emotional turmoil today was so sudden. Now that she's calmed down, she knew better than anyone how weak she had been.

If only she were stronger, she wouldn't have been cut off from the news.

Loraine, it must be her!

A cold glint flashed in Brittany's eyes. Though Loraine was already dead, the Field family still existed.

For the mistakes Loraine made, she would make the Field family pay!

Seeing her calm down, Isaac felt a sense of unease. He held her hand tightly, "Don't get so worked up. If Donna were still alive, she wouldn't want to see you like this."

"I know."

Brittany spent the whole night thinking things through. Loraine was the main suspect.

The next morning.

Brittany got up early, no more of yesterday's emotional mess, but full of determination.

Grace, hearing about Donna Dustin, felt a pang of sympathy, "Bri, you..."

"Granny, it's okay. I've sorted it out."

Brittany gripped Grace's hand firmly, "I'm sorry for worrying you yesterday."

Grace was indeed scared yesterday, but more than that, she felt sorry for Brittany.

Even though she was the one feeling upset, she still had to apologize to others.

"Bri, your grandma's gone, don't be too upset. Look ahead."

"I know."

Isaac came out of the kitchen, having made soup for Brittany because he was worried about her loss of appetite.

"I've prepared some snacks for you to bring to the studio."

He hoped Brittany could rest more, but she insisted on going to work.

"Alright then."

Isaac drove Brittany to the studio. As she got out of the car, Kari came over, "Yesterday, I saw Mr. Salter getting out of a Rolls-Royce Phantom. I checked the rental price for that car, it's $350 a day!"

That's just extravagant!

"He told me about it."

Isaac was in finance, where networking is key and renting cars is common.

Kari shook her head, "I should give it a try one day."
