The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 339

Isaac glanced at the butler, asking, "What's up? You checked everything?"

"Yes sir, it’s all clear. We've called the cops, they're on it."

The butler glanced at the operating room, saying, "Ms. Joie's still in there."

Their family really owe Ms. Joie big time this time. If it weren't for her, Grace Salter could've been hurt.

Isaac looked at Grace, a bit rattled, "What did the doctor say?"

"It's quite serious

Grace never thought that, when the accident happened, Joie would risk her life to save her, "Zac, we really owe her one this time."

Nearly four hours later, Joie finally emerged from the operating room.

"Grace, Mr. Salter, the surgery went smoothly, her life's not in danger now." The surgeon was an old friend of theirs. "But Ms. Joie's pretty wiped out right now. She needs to rest up, avoid any shock."

"Okay."

As Joie was wheeled out of the operating room, Grace looked even more concerned for her.

When Joie woke up, she couldn't wait to ask Grace, "Granny, you okay?"

Grace held her hand, "I'm fine, Joie, I really can't thank you enough for this time. I could've been hurt if it wasn't for you."

Joie let out a sigh of relief, "Grace, as long as you're okay."

Grace warmed up to Joie even more, even had the butler make soup to boost her health, and gifted her a villa as a thank you.

But Joie didn't take it.

"I can't accept this...I consider you family, I can't accept this villa."

"Good girl, just take it."

Grace didn't like being indebted to others, "I'll be upset if you don't take it."

"You should take it." Isaac chimed in too.

Joie's eyes welled up, "Thank you."

After staying at the hospital for a few hours, Grace had the servants come to take care of Joie before she left.

After they left, Joie thought about the villa she'd received, a small smile playing on her lips.
