The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 342

"William Dillion, what are you doing here?"

Upon seeing William standing in front of him, Mr. Leo looked a bit miffed. "Are you friends with Brittany?"

"I’ve known Bri for quite some time now." William was standing behind Brittany, subtly shielding her. "How many drinks do you want, Mr. Leo? I'll keep you company."

Mr. Leo wouldn't dare cross William. The Dillions were way out of his league.

So he quickly replied,"William, you've got me wrong. I was just joking around with Brittany." Mr. Leo put down his drink, quickly signing the contract and turned to Brittany. "Brittany, pleasure doing business with you."

Brittany was able to catch William's attention, she’s no ordinary woman.

This William, usually a cold fish, must have a thing for Brittany to be helping her out.

Brittany took the contract, flashing a smile. "Mr. Leo, pleasure doing business with you."

William noticed Brittany was lightly dressed, instinctively wanting to give her his jacket but thought better of it.

"Let's go, I'll walk you out."

Brittany said goodbye to Mr. Leo and left with William.

As soon as they were gone, Mr. Leo got restless. "What's going on between Brittany and William?"

"Mr. Leo, they've known each other for a while, they're pretty close."

Mr. Leo scoffed, men and women, can they ever be just friends?

He bet William had feelings for Brittany!

...

After leaving the private room, William turned to Brittany, "Why are you working with him?"

"I want to make money."

The Secretary was speechless.

Such a straightforward reason, no bullshit.

"You're pregnant, you should avoid places like this." William opened the car door for her. "Where's Zac?"

"Granny had a car accident, she needs someone to take care of her."

"An accident? Is it serious?"

William was clueless and looked worried when he heard the news.

"She's okay, someone saved her."

After Brittany got into the car, William closed the door for her, noticing a petal stuck in her hair, "Don't move, I'll get it for you."
