"Yeah."
Brittany sobbed, "I didn't know about this... It's all my fault. I have no idea how to face him..."
She's lost a lot of weight recently, her face filled with terror at the moment, with her slender body slightly trembling.
Katelin looked at her, her heart aching. She reached out, gently stroking Brittany's thin back.
"This isn't all on you. First off, nobody could've predicted this would happen. He likes you, got hurt for you, it's normal that you're feeling guilty and owing him now. When problems arise, you can't run away."
Brittany froze.
"Running away is a coward's move. You're an adult now. You know better than anyone that you can't escape. You have to face him."
Katelin patiently said, "He saved you. You should be grateful. He got his legs injured, and you should make it up to him. And for those who hurt him, you should take legal action and make them pay."
"You're not a kid anymore; face the problem, don't run away."
Brittany had a sudden realization.
Katelin was right.
This was all because of her. If she ran away, those who hurt William would become a threat, possibly bringing disaster at any time.
She took a deep breath, and her troubled eyes instantly filled with determination. She said, "Katelin, thank you for your advice."
She got up and said, "And thank you for taking me in; I’ll handle this."
Katelin saw her regain her composure, secretly pleased.
This was the girl she saw potential in. Even if she hesitated for a moment, she chose to face it in the end.
"You're leaving now?"
Brittany nodded firmly, "Yes, I need to go back."
Katelin didn't stop her. Instead, she called a driver to take Brittany back to the hospital.
Before leaving, Brittany bowed to Katelin, "Katelin, thank you for your advice. In the future, I'll definitely repay you."
