A water cup smacked Isaac. He wiped off the blood trickling down his forehead. His eyes were as deep as the abyss.
"I'll get you to the Salter family's private hospital. You need a good rest. I'll make it up to you."
"You..."
"Bri." Isaac stood up, radiating an aura of authority.
"The Chester family can cross me, but they won’t have a good time."
Isaac's eyes were filled with madness, "The Chester family is no match for me. If you care so much about the Chester family, you should know that I can easily ruin them if I want to!"
Brittany slapped him, but the slap didn’t hurt much because she was still weak from just waking up.
But this slap seemed to hit Isaac's heart directly. His heart ached as if it were pierced by a needle. He tightly held her hand, deeply inhaling her scent.
"Bri, I'm sorry. I will make it up to you."
He continued, "But if you don’t want to stay with me, then the Chester family, Randell Moore, Bri-jeweled Studio, they will all pay."
He lowered his head, kissing her hand madly, his eyes full of obsession, "You are mine; you are mine! No one can take you away from me!"
Brittany only felt a burning pain in her hand. A chill ran down her spine.
"Isaac, have you gone mad?"
He was the one who wronged her and caused Kyle's death, and then he had the nerve to threaten her!
Isaac's eyes were bloodshot as he said, "I am mad! Bri, as long as you stay, I'll do anything you want."
Brittany sneered, "Why don’t you just drop dead?"
She continued, "Isaac, Kyle was already seven months old. In a little over a month, he would have been born." Brittany's eyes were red, "It's all because of you. You killed him. What right do you have to talk about compensation? What right do you have to be with me?"
Isaac was in agony, "If I got stabbed, would you be less angry?"
"You deserve to be cut into pieces!"
Isaac opened the drawer on the bedside table and took out a fruit knife. He slashed his hand hard. Blood spattered everywhere.
