The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 1331

"No! What's up? What happened to her?"

Balfour didn't answer. He thought for a while and asked again, "Ms. Blanchet, can you get in touch with your brother's friend, Sophia?"

Veronica found their visit rather odd and sensed that something serious was going on. She pondered. "Sophia did call me before looking for my brother, but I didn't save her number. I'll have to check if I still have it in my call history."

Balfour nodded. "If you could, please check."

"I found it; this is the number. What do you need Sophia for?"

Balfour didn't have time to explain to Veronica. "Ms. Blanchet, Ellinor left on her own this afternoon; we can't find her. I suspect Sophia took her. Could you help me call and ask if she knows where Ellinor is?"

What? Ellinor went missing?

Upon hearing this, Veronica was very anxious and immediately called Sophia.

The phone rang for a while before being answered.

"Hello? Veronica." Sophia's voice sounded choked up, as if she had just stopped crying.

Veronica asked, "Sophia, where are you?"

"I'm at a hotel; what's up, Veronica? Any new developments about your brother? Theo's not dead, is he?"
