Ellinor was shaking Theo's arm desperately, "Theo! Wake up, don't scare me!"
Theo closed his eyes and remained silent for a minute before he slowly said, "Why did you stop doing what you were doing just now?"
Ellinor was speechless.
What she had been doing was...
Ellinor understood Theo's meaning after a bit of thought, and she wasn't happy, "Don't you dare take advantage of me!"
Ellinor was pissed when she realized she had been fooled. She brought the remaining water to him and coldly said, "Drink it yourself! I busted my ass to bring this water back for you, if you don't drink it; it's all going to go to waste!”
Theo wasn't even thirsty.
But little Ellinor had gone out of her way to bring this water back for him, so he was definitely going to drink it.
Theo reached out to take the leaf cup from her and drank the remaining half cup of water in one gulp.
Then, as if he suddenly thought of something, he stared at the empty reed leaf cup in his hand.
"Ellinor, have we met somewhere before?"
Ellinor sat there, hugging her knees, and looked quite skinny.
She thought he was messing with her again when she heard Theo's words. She looked at him and said, "Theo, stop pretending to have amnesia; it's boring!"
But Theo wasn't joking; he said very seriously, "I mean, a long time ago, did we meet somewhere?"
She gave him a strange look as she listened to Theo's serious tone, which was completely unlike his usual teasing.
"I don't think so! Before I was eighteen, I lived in a village and had no chance to meet a rich boy like you, Theo."
