Ellinor didn't pay him any mind and went straight to the horse's side instead.
Seeing Jonah being bullied by Ellinor, Theo couldn't help but crack a smile.
Ellinor got to work, taking the saddle off Yvette and handing it to Theo, who was standing next to her. She then lit up the horse with a flashlight, combing through its coat, searching for something.
Under the flashlight, something tiny suddenly reflected the light.
Ellinor swiftly brought the flashlight closer and took a good look. It was a diamond-studded earring that had completely embedded itself in the horse's skin.
And the earring was identical to the one that had pierced Haillie's foot during the day.
Theo also noticed the earring but didn't say anything for a moment.
As she was allergic to silver, Ellinor didn't touch the earring. She turned around and said to everyone in a nonchalant tone.
"Everyone, come take a look. This is why Yvette freaked out today."
Everyone was curious. When they got a close look at the earring on the horse, they instantly understood what had happened.
Then, everyone turned their gaze towards Haillie, who was just pretending to care about Ellinor a moment ago; their eyes filled with suspicion and rejection.
Byran furrowed his brow deeply. Fuming with anger, he roared. “Haillie, how could you do this?”
Haillie pretended to be clueless, "What are you talking about? What did I do? Byran, what are you babbling about? I don't understand you!"
Byran pointed at the earring on the horse, "Come and see for yourself! Why is this earring on Yvette the same as the one that stabbed your foot this morning? Did you sneak it under Ellinor's saddle when we weren't paying attention? Is that why Yvette freaked out from the pain and threw Ellinor off the cliff?"
