The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 227

When Ellinor came out of the bathroom with her hair still wet, she noticed only Belinda was there and instinctively looked around for Theo.

Belinda leaned in and said, "Ellinor, Uncle just left. He's probably off to give Haillie - that wicked woman - a piece of his mind, all for you!"

Ellinor froze and her brow furrowed.

Haillie was indeed nasty. She was sly and cunning, pretending to be sweet while plotting. Today, she even tried to kill Ellinor.

But, Theo, Haillie, and Jonah had been friends for many years. He wouldn't ruin the friendship just for her, a pawn who would be gone in three months.

Besides, Haillie was Patricia's bestie, and Patricia was the girl Theo had a crush on. He wouldn't do anything to Haillie.

As Ellinor was thinking, Belinda, grinning from ear to ear, grabbed her and said, "Ellinor, let me dry your hair for you!"

"No need; I'll let it dry naturally." Ellinor casually rubbed her semi-wet hair with a towel.

But Belinda shook her head and said seriously, "No way! The nights here are chilly. If you go to bed with wet hair, you'll catch a cold! Plus, Uncle told me to take good care of you. If you catch a cold and he hears you sneezing when he comes back, he'd blame me for sure!"

Belinda was overthinking, especially when it came to her and Theo's relationship!

Ellinor had no choice but to let Belinda dry her hair. Belinda pushed her into a chair and started blow-drying her hair.

The hairdryer Belinda brought didn't make much noise and didn't interfere with their conversation. It was pretty good.

"Ellinor, I saw that you guys brought back a bear from the valley. Are you going to roast it and eat it?"

Eat it?
