Chapter 281
Oh, he stayed up all night chatting with Patricia, how could he possibly sleep?
Seeing the girl’s disgusted face. Theo frowned and said, “You got beef with me? What man doesn’t grow a beard?”
Ellinor snapped back to reality, stood up from him, and moved slightly away before shaking her head, “No, I think you look hot with a beard too”
What does it matter to her whether he keeps his beard or not? Who is she to judge?
“You think I’m hot? Huh?” A flicker of surprise passed through Theo’s eyes, compliments from her were hard to come by
Ellinor was frank, “You being handsome is a fact, it has nothing to do with what I think.”
“So why are you so cold towards me?”
“So, I should be all over you because you’re handsome? There are plenty of hot guys in the world, should I be all over them too? Seriously?”
Theo’s face darkened. He pulled her over to sit on the couch, forcefully put the cake on the table in front of her, and said coldly, “Get real‘ Eat your cake!”
Ellinor reluctantly sat down, huffing in annoyance.
Fine, she’ll eat!
Despite her swollen hand, she managed to pick up the small fork
She stopped making a fuss and started eating the cake obediently on the couch, occasionally sneaking a peek at Theo’s computer screen.
Theo also stopped messing around and focused on the documents on his computer, his long fingers occasionally tapping on the keyboard and making some annotations
Ellinor felt bored and uncomfortable, she casually picked up the cake fork and asked, “When can I be discharged?”
“At least three days.”
Three days! That’s too long….
She didn’t want to stay in the hospital any longer!
So, she tried to negotiate with him, “As long as I avoid what I’m allergic to, I can go home and rest, right?”
Theo turned his head and looked at Ellinor, who was about to eat her cake; his face showed slight movement, and his mouth opened….
Seeing this, Ellinor paused, he was wanting some cake too?
And, was there a hint of threat in his eyes?
If she wanted to negotiate, she’d have to feed him the cake first.
Getting the hint, Ellinor was a bit annoyed!
But she really didn’t want to stay in the hospital for three days, so she was ready to put down the cake she hadn’t eaten yet, get a new fork and feed him a bite.
However, before she could put it down, her wrist was caught by Theo’s large hand, forcefully pulling it over, and she passively fed him…
Theo had no qualms about eating the cake from her used fork.
Ellinor’s heart skipped a beat. As soon as she came to her senses, she threw the fork away and got a new one for herself.
Theo frowned, “You dislike me that much?”
Ellinor cleared her throat and sneered, “Isn’t this a hygiene issue? Sharing utensils is like swapping bactena! You may not mind, but I do!”
Theo snorted, “It’s too late, we’ve already cross–contaminated.”
Cross–contamination!
Although Theo didn’t say it explicitly, he was clearly referring to that night…
That night, he was poisoned, and she lost her senses, they were intimate, their bodies wholly fused, their souls attracted to each other…
That’s something she wanted to forget!
Why did he bring it up again?
Ellinor couldn’t bear it anymore and yelled, “Theo!”
Seeing the girl’s flushed face. Theo felt that he had avenged her earlier coldness, he chuckled.
He stopped teasing her, reached put, and patted her head, “All right, eat fewer sweets, hot food will be here soon”
