The Kiss that Sparked it All novel Chapter 321

"Do not talk! I'm driving. Don’t say anything that will upset me now. Just sit tight and I'll explain everything in a bit, okay?"

Theo stared at the road ahead, firm and serious, and coaxing a child.

Ellinor was a whirlwind of emotions, silently leaning against her seat, her gaze fixed on the rapidly passing scenery outside the window, her voice gone.

......

In the middle of Donebridge.

A black business sedan parked by the roadside, its hazard lights flashing.

Theo drove past the car, then pulled over.

Even though Ellinor had no intention of getting out of the car, Theo took the initiative to unbuckle her seatbelt.

"Daydreaming? Get out!"

With a resigned sigh, she had no choice but to follow him out of the car.

As soon as they stepped out, Patricia came up to them, coughing weakly: "Theo, you're here!"

Theo nodded at her, then turned to Balfour who was standing by their car, asking, "What's up with the car?"

Balfour slapped the hood, "Might be water in the engine from that puddle we just hit, it just died on us."

Theo tossed him the car keys, "Take my car, get Patricia home."

Balfour caught the keys, paused for a second, then laughed, "Thanks, sorry for dragging you into this."

Then Balfour glanced at Ellinor who was standing silently, a touch of admiration for the girl who seemed to have Theo wrapped around her finger.

In the past, Theo would never have allowed him and Patricia to leave alone.

Upon hearing this, Patricia said anxiously, "Theo, if you give us your car, what about you? We could all go together, you know."
